
King Dedede made his debut as the antagonist in Kirby's Dream Land, the first game in the Kirby series, on the Gameboy in 1992. He has appeared in almost every game in the series and even as a protagonist in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.
King Dedede was also one of the playable combatants in Super Smash Bros Brawl for the Nintendo Wii.
