Opía Apito is a Master Assassin of Taíno origin and a minor character in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. Born to a Taíno mother and a Spanish father, she was raised among her mother's people and lived a peaceful life until her village was raided by Alejandro Ortega de Márquez. The only one of her village to escape, Opía went into hiding for a decade and then joined the Caribbean Assassin Order.
In 1715, Edward Kenway gave the Templars the whereabouts of Opía's Assassin bureau, via the papers he obtained off Duncan Walpole. Taking the advice of James Kidd, Edward warned Opía and help defeat the Templar tracking her.
