Rosalind Lutece is a quantum physicist and guide to Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite. Fasinated with the possibility of multiple realities, Lutece created the Lutece Field and eventually met Zachary Hale Comstock, who funded her research. Through this research she met Robert Lutece, an alternate version herself born male.
Through their machine, the 'twins' eventually learned that Elizabeth would destroy New York through her manipulation of tears. Wishing to correct their mistake, the two plotted to send Elizabeth back to her original universe but where killed on Comstock's orders. Scattered across time and space, the two were able to appear wherever and whenever they wanted and used this to help Booker Dewitt rescue Elizabeth.
