Robert Lutece is a quantum physicist and guide to Booker DeWitt in Bioshock Infinite. Fasinated with the possibility of multiple realities, Lutece's research eventually lead to meeting Rosalind Lutece, an alternate version himself born female. Working along with his 'sister' and Zachary Hale Comstock, Robert was the one responsible for kidnapping Anna DeWitt from an alternate reality.
Through their machine, the 'twins' eventually learned that Elizabeth would destroy New York through her manipulation of tears. Wishing to correct their mistake, the two plotted to send Elizabeth back to her original universe but where killed on Comstock's orders. Scattered across time and space, the two were able to appear wherever and whenever they wanted and used this to help Booker Dewitt rescue Elizabeth.
