Major story spoilers ahead.
Marcus, Dom, Baird and Cole set out to the East Barricade Academy. They travel there with the help of a Raven helicopter, however their vehicle gets attacked by Nemacyst. They manage to land near the Academy and make their way to it on foot.

When they reach the manor (the Academy), Baird notices an APC standing behind it. He observed that it required repair. The squad decides that Baird and Cole would repair the APC and Dom and Marcus would search for the data in the Manor. Soon Marcus and Dom find the hidden laboratory in the basement of the manor, and Jack, their accompanying robot, is ordered to download the data.
After Jack finishes downloading the data, Marcus and Dom rush towards the repaired APC standing behind the manor. They are challenged by aBrumak but manage to narrowly escape it and get away on the APC.
