The Boomshot is a grenade launcher that is primarily used by Locust Boomers. These weapons deliver grenades which explode upon impact. After the initial blast, multiple smaller blasts take place around the impact.
This weapon is extremely deadly when used by a skillful soldier. It can take out standard enemies with one shot and even group of enemies as long as they are in the range of the blast.
