The Troika is a mounted heavy machine gun used by Locusts. It is an extremely powerful weapon, and can kill multiple enemies with ease. It is also heavily shielded from the front, which makes it very difficult to kill the person controlling the troika.
However while using the troika, you are vulnerable from the back where enemies can attack you, and you are unshielded. While zoomed in using your troika, you can't move the gun from one target to the other as fast as other weapons and while zoomed out.
