The L86A2 is a magazine-fed LMG and has a 45-bullet 
magazine (60-bullet magazine with extended mags). This gun comes out of the Close Quarters Expansion. To unlock this gun you must complete the No Shortage Assignment (20 squad resupplies and 20 kills with LMG's). It looks exactly like the L85A2 assault rifle, except the barrrel is a lot longer and the reload animations are different. It's worth noting the L86A2 is the only magazine-fed light machinegun which gains the additional bonus of reduced vertical recoil from the foregrip.
