Though he has wings, a beak and feathers, do not mistake Dust for a mere crow. He is something more. Perhaps another trick of the Crowfather or, another curse. Dust serves as guide to the Pale Rider, across Creation's many blighted world. For that alone, Death is thankful... thankful enough not to slay the bird.
Death starts the game with Dust at his side and he can be used to show the player the correct path to their next destination.
