Timed Mode is a mode where players have a certain amount of time to KO as many opponents as possible. You gain 2 points for KO'ing an opponent, but lose 1 point if you get KO'ed by someone else. The game doesn't show the points that players have until the end of the match, in the results screen. This was done to prevent players in the lead to not just go on the defensive and protect their lead. The winner of the match is the one with the most points at the end.
