Mobs (short for "mobiles") are living entities besides the player in Cube World. They can either be friendly, neutral or hostile toward the player. Hostile mobs are capable of dealing damage to the player and vice versa. Neutral mobs will ignore the player unless attcked. Friendly mobs cannot be attacked. Most hostile mobs can be found inside dungeons, hostile landscapes, outside NPC settlements, or in wide, open areas.
Mob Types
- Friendly (Blue Health Bar)- cannot be attacked, will assist player (All mobs in towns, certain NPCs or NPC groups outside of towns)
- Neutral (Green Health Bar)- will ignore player unless attacked (Most tameable mobs outside of towns)
- Hostile (Red Health Bar)-will attack any player or friendly mob they see (Monsters and certain NPCs or NPC groups outside of towns)

Strategy
Mobs are far easier to take on with other players in a co-op game; a red monster may be nearly impossible to defeat solo, but can be easily taken on by four players.
To determine the hostility of a mob, look at the color of its health bar. If it is red, it will be hostile on sight; if it is green, it will be hostile if attacked; and if it is blue it cannot be attacked.
