When you get to the first tall tower, you'll find a chest about halfway up (2 FAERY NECTARS), as well as the NPC that begins the Free Trade sidequest. There are two chests inside the second building you can enter (the first is locked), netting you a ROUGH SAPPHIRE and 3 POTENT HEALING POTIONS. Also, you can start the Bolmus Inferno sidequest.
The third building has an Oculi chest with 2 FIREFLY ELIXIRS in it. Go through the gate on the far left and talk to the mouse sitting down on the far side, who doesn't help you out. Exit this mansion and another mouse agrees to help you, joining your party. You will automatically appear outside of the giant you saw before, with you being able to go inside for the next dungeon.
Immediately, you should see an Oculi chest in the air and there's another chest on the far end (2 DAMAGE ELIXIRS and 3 QUICKEN ELIXIRS). Being careful of the lava, head down and open the chest along the way for 2 LULL ELIXIRS. You will notice little fireballs that fall from the ceilings, as well as jump out from fire pits, so make sure you avoid them.
Go down another level and open the Oculi chest to the right (2 POTENT HEALING POTIONS), then go in that direction and grab the chest in the little alcove (2 POTENT HEALING POTIONS). When you go down a little bit, you'll see the giant spider's web in the middle holding Magna's heart. You must find and kill the four spiders holding the heart captive. Note that these aren't the little spiders you fight throughout, but bigger ones.
When you find them, the giant spiders always come in three and have a move that can slow you down, so if you have Quicken on Norah, she should participate in battle. They are also highly resistant to most magic, so Finn shouldn't be in the party and characters with high strength should be in instead (like Rubella since her hit-all attack is fast enough).
First, take the path on the right, which will have a lot of fireballs. Past the second set and amongst the third is an Oculi chest with 2 DAMAGE ELIXIRS, as well as a chest being blocked by web that will disappear after defeating the giant spiders (TUMBLED RUBY). Back at the previous intersection, go down and take the first left to find Confession #9. The right path has a DEFENSE STARDUST.
Continue delving deeper and there will be a chest with 2 ROUGH EMERALDS on the left. There will be a door on the right, so enter it. This room is slightly darker than the normal area, but it shouldn't be too much trouble. In the top left corner is an Oculi chest with 2 ROUGH SAPPHIRES and there's another on the bottom path with 2 MAGIC POTIONS.
Right above the previous chest is another chest with 2 FIREFLY ELIXIRS and above that is a chest with 3 LULL ELIXIRS. Finally, at the far right is a STRENGTH STARDUST, so grab it and then leave the room. Now, journey to the very bottom and Robert will leave your party until you open the vault on the left. What you want to do is flip the switch on the right once, then flip the left twice and finally the right once more.
This will make three moving Oculi switches appear and you must light them all up. Do that and the vault door will open, so head inside. There will be four chests that you can pilfer, so do that to gain 2 FAERY NECTARS, a ROUGH CITRINE, 3 ROUGH RUBIES and 2 REVIVES. Go to the right now, defeat the giant spiders and grab the chest above after the battle (TUMBLED SAPPHIRE).
Return to the heart and take the left path now, opening the chests along the way for 2 MAGIC DEFENSE ELIXIRS, 2 FAERY NECTARS and 3 MAGIC DEFENSE ELIXIRS. Kill the spiders, open the chest above for a TUMBLED SAPPHIRE, grab the MAGIC DEFENSE STARDUST and return to the heart. Examine the heart and prepare for a boss battle.
BOSS: Queen Spider
---
First off, interrupting the Queen will prompt her to counterattack by increasing the speed of all enemies, including her. This means that your first priority is to take out the two smaller spiders, isolating the Queen. When she gathers her strength, she will use Arachnid's Claws on your party, which is nothing but a stronger physical attack. The best course of action for this boss is to always let her use her attacks, to prevent the speed up. If you have Norah with Lull, use this to keep her always slowed, although she can heal the ailment with Antivenom sometimes. She can also paralyze one of your party members, making it annoying. Magic is a lot more effective than physical attacks, so someone like Finn or Aurora would be a good fit to do battle.
After the battle is over, watch the cutscene that follows, then return to Bolmus to have him take you to the Cliffs of Erin. As soon as you arrive, the next chapter starts.
