In this new area, just follow the path until you hear a train noise, which that exact thing approaching the platform. Watch the ensuring cutscene and you'll gain semi-lifetime passes for the train, basically letting you use it whenever you want. As you're introduced to the town of Cornelia, some soldiers from the Bahamutian Army come to terrorize the town, sparking a battle.
Feel free to check out the Goblins or Goblin Guard with Libra, but you won't be able to see how to create a prismtunity, so just defeat them like any normal enemies. However, that doesn't stop your characters from trying to imprism the last one, resulting in a failure. You saw this briefly at the beginning of the battle, with chains being attached to the Mirage, meaning they belong to another master. The only way to free them is to defeat the master first.
After the ordeal is over with, the passerby from before tells you to go to the castle to speak with someone. Before doing that, head down the stairs right next to you to spot a chest on the roof of the building right there. If you're not in Jiant form, do so to be able to open the chest (Occult Fan, Issue 1). Now, go up to the castle to automatically go inside and find out that the lady from before was really Princess Sarah.
You learn some stuff and can finally head to your next destination, the Nether Nebula. In order to get there, head to the southern exit of Cornerlia, but you'll spot something on the way. There will be a guard by the fountain, with a "!" over his head. Talking to him will give you a sidequest (Miniventure), with the guard asking you to bring an Earth Hammer item. You'll be getting one shortly, so continue making your way towards the previously mentioned exit until you get a short scene explaining the gate you find. Upon exiting the town, you will begin a new chapter...
