You don't get very far, as you will need to go to the inn before you freeze your literal butts off from the cold. After the introduction to Sherlotta and once you regain control, inspect the shiny item right next to the front desk for another cutscene. Before you leave, turn into a Jiant and grab the slightly hard to see chest between the desk and Refia (Rename Prism). Upon leaving the inn, head straight north to find Icicle Ridge.
Icicle Ridge
| Mirage | Size | How to Imprism |
|---|---|---|
| Baby Paleberry | S | Physical attacks |
| Babyhemoth | M | Physical attacks |
| Deathskull | M | Inflict Oblivion |
| Ice Bat | S | Inflict Blindness |
| Quachacho | S | Restore HP |
| Right Claw | L | Reduce HP |
Go straight on the path ahead of you until you come to some ice blocking your path. You'll need a Mirage with Sizzle on you to remove it, so do that and have the same Mirage remove the next obstacle. At the end of the path beyond the second obstacle is a chest with 2 Phoenix Downs. Return to the split and head south this time to come upon some slippery ice. As Reynn points out, you will continue in a direction until you hit something.
From where you first land, go left, up and right to melt the ice with Sizzle, then press X to open the chest (3 Potions). Now, go left, down, left, down, right and down once more to reach another dead end with a chest (Blizzard Seed). Back on the ice, go right, down, right, up and right to continue through the dungeon and into the second area, where you'll be forced into a battle with some White Nakks. You can't imprism these right now, so just fight them normally to make them run away.
After getting rid of them, keep going and melt the ice obstacle with Sizzle, then grab the chest behind it (3 Wobblestoppers). You'll come upon another ice maze here, so go right, up, right, and down to get to the right side and from there, go down and left to get the chest trapped in ice (Defense+ Mirajewel). You will notice something at the top end of the maze that is blocking your path, which is a Gimme Golem. Unfortunately, you won't know what it wants, since you will need to approach it from the north end.
So, go to the right side of the maze and follow the path there to a chest, which contains a Squishsparkly. The funny coincidence is that this is what the Gimme Golem wants. However, as you approach it from the north, the White Nakks will come to attack you once more. Defeat them and give the item to the Gimme Golem, then go back onto the ice. Go down, left, down, right and down to reach the path you couldn't get to before, letting you reach the third area.
It's time for yet another ice maze, so follow the directions below. After going up at the start, go left, up, right, down, right and up to get the ice-trapped chest (Elixir; DO NOT USE THIS). Continue to the left, then go down, left, down, right, down and right to get back to the beginning. The path on the left is blocked by a rock that requires the Smash ability, which you likely don't have and because of that, you can't reach the upper left path. So, from the beginning, start by going left, then up, left, down, right, up, right, up, right and up to reach the upper right. In the next area, use the save point and continue forward to face the next boss.
BOSS - Grandfenrir
This boss is accompanied by four White Nakks, who you should get rid of so you don't take attacks from five enemies at once. In addition to its normal attack, Grandfenrir also has Gnaw, which is slightly stronger, as well as Ice Storm, an ice attack that hits everyone. Eventually, it will use Call For Help, which will bring back all four White Nakks you defeated earlier.
The key to winning this battle is not much different than the previous bosses, except you will want to get rid of the White Nakks whenever they are summoned. Grandfenrir has 3530 HP and if you still have Tama in one of your stacks, her Foxfire will be extremely useful here, as the boss is weak to it. Keep an eye on your health and watch out for when your stacks are wobbling, so either use a Wobblestopper and unstack/stack to cancel it.
After the battle is over, take the eastern path to a chest with 3 Ethers, and the western one leads to a level 15 Murkrift. Take the path leading to the north to exit the Icicle Ridge and get to another section of the Ice Region. Head straight to the town of Saronia Harbor...
