World of Final Fantasy - Chapter 4

Upon teleporting back to Cornelia, there will be a cutscene with the Bahamutian army setting up camp nearby. As you make your way towards the southern exit, there will be another scene that introduces the Brigade Captain. Exit to the Cornelia Region and make your way to the hill to the northwest, which you couldn't access earlier, to enter The Watchplains.

The Watchplains

MirageSizeHow to Imprism
Babyhemoth M Physical attacks
Black Nakk S Physical attacks

At the beginning of this area, there will be a chest across from the gate that contains 3 Eye Drops (they cure Blindness). Also, if you talk to the guard near the gate, he will give you a free Eye Drop. Note that the majority of enemies in this "dungeon" are unimprismable, since they belong to someone else. However, if you encounter a Black Nakk, you will find that isn't true and you will be able to capture it for your team.

Continue through the first area, taking the side path to find a chest containing Girl's Diary, Entry 1 (it's a Key Item that you can read). Just up the hill, before the bridge, is a Goblin and Cornelian knight near each other. Talk to the Goblin to fight it, then talk to the knight after to get 3 Potions. Right before the stairs, there will be a little alcove that is hiding a chest, which contains 2 Ethers. Go on to the second area.

There will be a split in the path here, so take the western of the two on the map and you will encounter a scripted battle with some Goblins towards the end. Talk to the knight after to receive another 3 Potions, then open the chest nearby to get a Cure Seed. Note that it's possible to encounter a Bahamutian Soldier in this area that will summon a Babyhemoth Mirage. Defeat the soldier first and then you'll be able to capture the Babyhemoth, since it will be free from its chain.

Seeds, such as the Cure one, are something you can place into Blank nodes on Mirage Boards once you've acquired them, granting that Mirage that particular ability. You can reuse blank spaces by just inserting another seed, although you lose the first seed you used.

Follow the other path on the map until you come to the Brigade Captain being bamboozled by some goblins. Defeat them in combat and continue up to some spot, where the knights have surrounded a goblin inside of a closed space. There is a chest that contains 3 Eye Drops on the one side, so grab it and move to the next area. There is an offbeat path here, opposite of the stairs, that can be a little hard to see, where there's a chest with 2 Phoenix Downs in it.

After grabbing it, take the stairs to a small area with a goblin and knight confronting each other. Like earlier, talk to the goblin to help the knight out, who will give you an Ether. The rest of the way is unobstructed and uneventful, so keep going until you hit the save point. Heal up, save and get ready for a cutscene and a boss fight!

BOSS - Bahamutian Commander and Giant Goblin

That goblin sure is the-big (please hit me for that Tama reference) and while you may think to go after it first, doing such a thing will only lead to a stalemate, as the Commander will just keep using Cure on it. That means you will want to go after the Commander first, who only does physical attacks. As for the Giant Goblin, it has its normal attack, as well as Giant Gobsmacker, which seems like it has a Topple Strength of medium.

The Commander has no resistances of any kind and 1350 HP, so he should go down without too much trouble. The Giant Goblin also has no resistances, but has a whopping 2860 HP, so it will take a little more to bring the monstrosity to its knees. Keep tabs on your health at all times and should your stack look like it's ready to topple from enemy attacks, unstack it yourself to get the ability to stack it back quicker.

After the battle and some cutscenes, you'll be back at The Watchplains and have a few options available to you. The various goblins you've been fighting here are now available to imprism (check table below for details), there is a secret Mirage you can get, and there's also a few chests laying about. First, go back to the area with the save point and heal up, then find the chest in the same area for 3 Potions.

Go back down the stairs and you should see another chest by the log cabin-like building near the bottom of said stairs (2 Wobblestoppers). Past the Exit Door is another area you can go to, where you will find a Black Chocochick waiting for you. As you approach it, you will automatically get into a fight with it. It's a bit faster and hits harder than the other enemies in the area, but you can easily imprism it by healing it a few times to increase your chances of success. Grab the chest in the area after the battle for 10 Ethers.

MirageSizeHow to Imprism
Goblin M Reduce HP
Goblin Guard M Use Protect on it
Red Cap M Deal a lot of damage at once
Red Captain M Inflict Confusion

Teleport back to Nine Wood Hills and go to North Promenade to see a cutscene. You'll meet a Tonberry, who will introduce you to the Coliseum. Basically, you will find battles against past adversaries in the Coliseum, which unlock as you progress through the story or defeat them. Also, there will be special challenges in the place that you can fight. You get a reward for the first victory, but a different one for repeating the fight. Return to Cornelia to continue the story...
