World of Final Fantasy - Chapter 3

Welcome to the very small area of the Cornelia Region. While there's an exit to the northwest, you can't use it yet, so make your way to the northeastern exit. You will find a chest near the northeastern exit, which contains 3 Potions. Take the exit to enter the Nether Nebula.

Floating Eye M Leave as last one alive
Mandragora S Physical attacks
Mini Golem S Physical attacks

After a quick introduction to the dungeon, as well as the gate at the beginning, head north and open the chest you see before the ramp to get a Libra Mirajewel. These things are items you can equip to the twins, some of which will unlock abilities for use in combat. Each of the twins has two slots open right now and will gain more as they level up (the final two require something specific). For this one, equip it to the character that doesn't have Libra already accessible.

Follow the linear path ahead of you until you get to the second area, where you will eventually run into a Gimme Golem. This one wants a Sleekstone and as your luck happens to be, there is one in a chest just down the ramp. Give it to the golem and you'll shortly come to a spot where you see a button prompt to jump down. Don't do that just yet, but instead go south on the big map to a chest that contains 3 Potions. Now go back to where you could first jump down to find another chest with only one Potion.

From this level, you can find the path that leads to the next area. You'll run into some kind of object called a Puzzle Switch. Basically, you need to put certain Mirages that meet the criteria set forth in order to solve the "puzzle." For this particular one, you will need Mirages that have a combined total weight of 5 or more and a combined total earth resistance of 50 or more. Luckily for you, there is one particular Mirage that meets both of these requirements, the Copper Gnome.

If you don't have one yet, get into battles and imprism it, then you can place it on the switch to activate it. This will create a bridge right next to you that allows you to continue further into the dungeon. Before heading up the ramp, go into the back to find another Puzzle Switch. You need a weight of 5+ and earth resistance of 75+ in order to solve this one, so befriend a Mini Golem in addition to the Copper Gnome to gain access to the two treasure chests (Earth Hammer and Phoenix Down).

With the Earth Hammer, you can complete the Best Helm in the Realm Miniventure. Go to the Adventure Log and switch over to Miniventures, then press X to claim your reward.

Continue on to the next area and you will see a large rock blocking the one path. Unfortunately, there's nothing you can do about this at the moment, so ignore it and climb the hill to the save point. As pointed out to you, if you happen to lose inside of the enemy threshold, then it will result in a Game Over, so make sure you save before heading inside. You'll come across three very familiar faces to any Final Fantasy fan. After all the talking is over, you'll be given a choice on who to face in combat, with the end result being a Mirage related to that one, so pick whoever you want.

Choosing one of the three to battle will result in you obtaining a Mirage related to that particular character. Ifrit's Mirage is more physically-inclined, while Ramuh/Shiva's are magic-oriented.

BOSS - Ramuh, Shiva or Ifrit

Depending on who you choose, you will find that the attack patterns of all three are fairly easy to spot. Each of them has a normal attack, their respective elemental attack and their ultimate one. Tama has use of Foxfire, which Shiva is weak against, and the earth-elemental Mirages you've captured in this dungeon will help in dealing damage to Ramuh. Unfortunately, you don't have anyone with ice-elemental damage to do bigger damage to Ifrit.

You will definitely want to be careful of their ultimate attacks, especially if you have a Mirage that's weak to that element. It's entirely possible to lose a majority of your health if they are weak, since stacks inherit the weaknesses of their individual Mirages. If you manage to have Cure (Tama and Chocochick have it fairly early on their boards), you can use that to heal in between the bigger attacks; otherwise, you will need to use Potions.

After the battle is over, you will receive a Mirage of the respective family of the boss you defeated. You receive Bablizz if you chose Shiva, Zapt if you fought Ramuh and Frilt if you chose Ifrit. Once some cutscenes play out, you will be in control again and Tama will have created a one-way exit to Nine Wood Hills. Note that if you check out Chocolatte's store and head back to the main area with Serafie, you will learn about the "windways," which are essentially shortcuts in the town. Basically, press Square to bring up a list of places you can teleport to within the town.
