This level is stealth based, so the player begins with a silenced USP .45. Once the first enemy is killed, the gun can be taken and used if stealth is not desired.
If spotted by the chopper at any point, shoot out the light on it. Note: The searchlight on the chopper can be disabled at any point, but the chopper will drop soldiers near you if you shoot out the light.
In front of the player at the beginning will be several enemies. Start by shooting the man leaning on the humvee in the head, then the man next to him. Kill the third man that is on the other side of the humvee then advance forwards while avoiding the light from the helicopter. Near the signal flare ahead will be two men about to execute a civilian. Kill both men then free the civilian if possible before continuing forward.
In the next area, wait by the crates on the left for a man to come from the left before advancing. Kill him then kill the man to the left threatening a civilian. Free him then continue west while staying towards the North side of the area. While by the snowplows on the other side, take out the two men nearby, then proceed to the southwest corner of the area. Shoot the two to the East that are talking to each other.
Continue to the next area and kill the three enemies (one on the left and two on the right). Pass the burning bush on the right and kill the next two enemies that will be standing talking to each other. Go into the ditch where the plane crashed and kill the enemy on the right. From here, go forward over the log. There will be two enemies to the left after jumping over the log threatening a civilian. Kill them both then save the citizen. Continue onwards to kill the man holding Alena (be careful not to shoot her) and also kill the guy next to him.
