Sony has announced that PlayStation TV (formally known as Vita TV in Japan) will be releasing on October 14th in North America and November 14th in Europe.
The standalone unit will be priced at $99.99/€99.9/£84.99 and will have 1 gigabyte of internal memory. European PlayStation TVs include a voucher for: Worms: Revolution Extreme, OlliOlli and Velocity Ultra. North Americans can purchase a bundle that includes a DualShock 3 Controller, an 8 gigabyte memory card and The LEGO Movie Videogame for $139.99.
The system will be able to play over 700 games from day one, including such greats as: Child of Light, Corpse Party, Killzone Mercenary, Limbo, Persona 4 Golden, The Walking Dead, Valkyria Chronicles II, Virtue’s Last Reward and many more.
