Final Fantasy XV - Summons

As you progress through the game, you will earn the blessing of some summons, or the Six as the game calls them. Once you've acquired them, you won't be able to freely call upon their powers whenever you wish, as they will only come out on their own accord. These conditions for them to appear will vary and are unclear a bit, but they seem to become available whenever you and your party are in trouble.
