Will The Last Guardian ever be released?

As a massive SOTC fan I've been looking forward to this game for ages! Does anybody know if there's a release date yet?

    In the end of console life cycle very often great game realized (like God of War 2 on PS2 or Ghost of Sparta or God Eater for PSP). Maybe in next year The Last Guardian finally released... or not.
