The Deku Scrub mask turns Link into a Deku Scrub. Link seems to take the form of a Deku Scrub similar to that of the Deku Butler's son.
Location
This mask is the first mask that you acquire during the course of the game. At the beginning of the game, the Skull Kid turns you into a Deku Scrub. After proceeding a little ways, you'll find yourself in the Clocktown Tower with the Happy Masks Salesman. He will play the Song of Healing on his organ for you which will both teach you this song and transform you back to normal Link. The Deku Scrub mask will fall at your feet and you will then acquire your first mask.
Uses
The Deku Scrub mask allows Link to take the form of a Deku Scrub. When he does, he gains many abilities and attributes associated with Deku Scrubs. This includes becoming very light and being able to glide when jumping. There are negative attributes gained as well, such as increased flamability.
