The Song of Healing is the first song that Link learns after arriving in Termina. After being cursed and turned into a Deku Scrub, Link will eventually find himself in the Termina Clock Tower where the Happy Mask Salesman is found. The Salesman teaches the song to link by playing it on his organ and Link is returned to his normal form. The song itself is very powerful and capable of healing the souls of those that are troubled.
While the song is used in several spots to help villagers who are concerned with something, the primary use of this song is to get the masks of the various species from Termina. By using it to help certain troubled Souls, they will transform into masks that allow Link to become one of their species which provides Link with unique tools to proceed.
