The song "Sonata of Awakening" is a song used to rouse sleeping people and creatures throughout the game. It is originally learned from a captured monkey in the Deku Palace and is played primarily on the Deku Pipes. Otherwise, the song is only known to the Deku Royal Family.
With only one exception, this song only works if Link is wearing the Deku Mask. The song can be used to wake up Captain Keeta for a race and at this point, Link doesn't have to wear the Deku mask. The primary use of this song is to raise Woodfall Temple in the swamp so that you might gain access.
