The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask Overview
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask is the second Nintendo 64 Zelda game that was developed and published by Nintendo. It was released on April 27, 2000 in Japan, on October 25, 2000 in North America and on November 17, 2000 in Europe. It was later released as part of a collection of four Zelda games on one Gamecube disc in November of 2003, as well as released on the Wii's Virtual Console in April of 2009.
Majora's Mask takes place in Termina, which is an alternate version of Hyrule, where the games usually are set. The Skull Kid is in possession of Majora's Mask, an ancient, powerful artifact that is being used to make the moon crash into Termina in three days. It is up to Link to find a way to stop this from happening, and utilizes the ability to travel back in time to the beginning of the three days.
