Nimbasa is a very large city, with a heavy focus on entertainment, making it the polar opposite of Castelia City. It features a number of landmarks including the Battle Subway, the Musical Theater where the player can take part in Pokemon Musicals, the Battle Institute, Big Stadium, Small Court and an amusement park.
Nimbasa City is found north of Route 4, with Join Avenue joining the two. It is also west of Route 16 and east of Route 5. The player can also take the Battle Subway to Anville Town.
The fourth Gym is found within the amusement park. Previously, it was west of the Rondez-View Ferris wheel, but it has been relocated to the eastern side. The old Nimbasa Gym must be traversed before the new one can be accessed. The Gym members focus on Electric-type Pokemon and are all professional models including Elesa, the Gym Leader.
