Bases in State of Decay are the where your survivors live and protect themselves from the wandering zombie. All bases have a defensive perimete of some type and store the players weapons and items that they scavenge. In order to help protect their home, players can upgrade bases to include facilities that they feel will help their survivors thrive.
Bases can become overrun with zombies or relocated by moving from one location to another. Additionally, some bases may be occupied by other groups.
