When you gain control of Deadpool, follow the onscreen prompts to get loose and then land below. You only have access to your pistols in this next section, and you cannot teleport, so try to aim for headshots, as well as the explosive barrels that appear. Keep going until a bunch of grenades start coming out, which will trigger a cutscene.
You'll meet Death, so press the button to learn a little more about her. After the cutscene is over, you'll have to fight some enemies. When the battle is finished, you can search the second level to find chests that contain 1,500 DP Points. Pulling the lever will open the door, as well as spawn more enemies. Remember the machine that was spitting out explosive barrels before? You can go to it and repeatedly press a button to make it disappear.
Get inside the minecart and get ready for a ride. There's nothing you really need to do while riding the minecart, but you can shoot at the skeletons if you want. When it stops, go and help Cable defeat the enemies. After the battle, go to where Death is and pick one of the statues. Picking one will have you go and retrieve the soul associated with it.
SPEAK NO EVIL
Pick up the statue and then follow Death into the portal. You'll be standing in line for a ride, where you can either choose Patience or Think Quick. If you choose Patience all the way, you will earn the Patience is not a virtue Achievement/Trophy. Jump into the minecart whichever method you choose, which will bring you to a boat ride.
There will be two targets to shoot at in this mini-game, one of which is a woman and the other being an enemy. Shooting the women will deal slight damage to Deadpool and earn you 0 points, although they do hold powerups. Hitting the enemy targets will increase your score.
The second round is more of the same, although the target you shouldn't hit is modeled after Death. The third round has you hitting various Sentinel heads, with the big one being indstructible and also capable of the big points. Once you're finished with all three rounds, you'll return to the central area with Cable.
| During the boat ride mini-game, beating one of the high scores will earn you the Officially a Carny Achievement/Trophy. Also, if you did the Speak No Evil section, you'll reappear back with the pirate hat on Deadpool. Completing another section after this will replace the hat, so you need to do Speak No Evil last to get the ARRR-Rated Achievement/Trophy. |
When you get back to the central area with Cable, you'll have to fight some more enemies. Once you kill them all, bring the previous statue and put it back on the pedestal, then grab another one and continue.
SEE NO EVIL
This section is nothing but platforming at first, but note that there are hidden chests with 1,500 DP Points throughout this entire area. Eventually, you'll come to an area with enemies, although you might be able to take out one or two with stealth attacks. Go from room to room until you kill all of the enemies, then go to where Death is to initiate a cutscene. At the end, open the chest to get the second spirit, but that's not quite it yet.
The three heads go off on their separate ways and you must find them. Jump over and go around the corner to find a fortune teller machine inside the cave. Go in the previous room to find two things that will change Deadpool's size. Go big at first to pull the switch, then go small and through the door to back outside. First test complete.
At the far left end, walljump to the top to find another fortune teller machine. It will ask a series of questions and for every correct answer, you will get 5,000 DP Points, although incorrect ones will make you lose 2,500 DP Points. The last one will read your mind and correctly answer to finish all three tests. Note that if you look at the anomaly, then you have to fight a flying enemy with a lot of health.
Open the chest when you're done to finally get the second spirit and return to the central area with Cable yet again. Kill all of the new enemies that spawn and then return the second statue to its pedestal. Grab the third statue and then follow Death to the last portal.
HEAR NO EVIL
You're immediately thrown into battle, so clear the first wave and then you'll have to survive an onslaught of grenades for 30 seconds. After the second wave, an elevator will drop that will bring you to more enemies. Kill them and then another elevator will drop, allowing you to continue to a hallway of the exploding enemies. Repeatedly press the button next to the door to open it.
Keep fighting through the gauntlets of enemies, making sure you retreat should your health run low. Once they're all dead, you'll follow Death into the next room. Here, you'll need to stay in Death's light or else the darkness will slowly wittle your health away. You'll encounter one enemy along the way, which should be easy to take out.
| There are 11 chests hidden throughout the area where you have to stay in the light provided by Death. Even in the darkness, it's easy to see them as they are outlined in red. Opening all of the chests will earn you the Diggin' in the crates Achievement/Trophy. If you happen to miss one by the time you're at the end, restart the previous checkpoint and try again. |
The next area is a 2D one, so go to the right and avoid the spikes while jumping to the next ledge. There's a mechanism that shoots skulls, which is easily avoided, so drop down and go left to pull a switch. As you go right, a bunch of skeletons will drop, so kill them all before continuing. Continue right, through the door, then pull the next switch to make some platforms appear.
Use these platforms to teleport to a ledge above and keep going until you find another switch. Pull this to get sucked to a completely new area, then keep going right until you come to the one machine that launched barrels earlier. You need to hit the barrels back at the machine six times to destroy it. After three hits, it will launch regular barrels that will spawn skeletons.
Open the chest that appears to grab the final spirit, and you'll be transported back to the area with Cable. Kill the enemies that appear and once they're all dead, bring the statue to its pedestal. As soon as you place it, a cutscene will occur and the level will be complete.
