Grand Theft Auto Online is a persistent open world online multiplayer game developed by Rockstar North and due to be published by Take-Two.
Although initially intended as the multiplayer component of Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online developed into a fully fledged separate game. It will be released for free to those who purchased Grand Theft Auto V, and will be released on October 1, 2013.

Grand Theft Auto Online is an online multiplayer world that will encompass everything available in the single-player, while also delivering loads of content unique to the multiplayer. It is free to everyone who purchases Grand Theft Auto V, but it will not be available until October 1.
Awards
Awards are bonuses you get for achieveing specific objectives during gameplay. There are various levels of them, like Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum, with each one requiring a different amount for the task at hand.
