These are items that are labeled as contraband, meaning they can be confiscated by the guards if you own these items. Giving these specific items away to other inmates will also have a higher chance of increasing their opinion of you.
| Baton | This is a weapon carried around by guards. You can obtain these weapons by looting them off of knocked out guards or buying them off of inmates. |  |
| Bed Dummy | Used into tricking guards that you are asleep. They can only be obtained through crafting. |  |
| Bottle of Sleeping Pills | This is an item that can be requested in favors by other inmates. It can be found on the desks of other inmates. |  |
| Comb Blade | This is a weapon that can either be crafted or found in the inventories of other inmates. |  |
| Comb Shiv | This weapon can either be crafted or obtained from the inventories of other inmates. |  |
| Contraband Pouch | Used to help sneak contraband items through metal detectors. |  |
| Crafting Note | Recipes on how to craft certain items. Once used, the recipe goes in the main character's journal. There is a certain amount of intelligence required in order to craft certain items. They are hidden around the prison, can be bought from certain inmates, or looted off of knocked out inmates. |  |
| Crowbar | A weapon that can also be used to chip away at the walls of the prison. Can be bought from other inmates. |  |
| Cup of Molten Chocolate | Used to automatically knock out an NPC. Select it in the inventory and left-click on an NPC to use it. Must be crafted. |  |
| Cushioned Inmate Outfit | Increases the main character's defense by 1. Must be crafted. | |
| Fake Vent Cover | Used to cover an unscrewed vent. Must be crafted. |  |
| Fake Wall Block | Used to cover a hole in the wall made to escape. Must be crafted. |  |
| File | A tool that can be use to file away at prison cell bars or the grates of vents. Can be found in the inventories of inmates, in their cells, or bought by inmates. |  |
| Flimsy Cutters | Used to cut away at slats. Must be crafted. |  |
| Flimsy Pickaxe | A tool used to remove stones. Must be crafted. |  |
| Flimsy Shovel | Used to dig at the ground. Must be crafted. |  |
| Foil | An item mainly used to craft other items. Can be obtained from the kitchen. |  |
| Glass Shank | A weapon that can either be crafted or looted from other inmates. |  |
| Glass Shard | An item used to craft the glass shank. |  |
| Grappling Hook | Used to climb up the outer walls of the prison to escape. Must be crafted. | |
| Guard Outfit | Worn by guards. If the main character wears this outfit, he will be mistaken for a guard and given that immunity. You will have access to certain areas without suspicion raising to high. Try not to wear it for too long, as it can raise guard heat. |  |
| Hammer | A tool that can assist you in your escape. This item can be bought from other inmates. |  |
| Infirmary Outfit | This outfit functions like a guard outfit, but can be used to gain access to the medical storage. |  |
| Key | An item used to unlock other areas. Also used to craft key molds, which is advised since you will get caught with the real key. | |
| Key Mold | A wad of putty with a key-shaped hole used for making plastic keys. |  |
| Knuckle Duster | A weapon that must be crafted. |  |
| Length of Rope | A tool used to scale down prison walls while trying to escape. It can also be used to tie down other inmates who try to fight you, which can be useful for disrupting work schedules. Can be bought by inmates. |  |
| Lightweight Cutters | Stronger than flimsy cutters and is used to cut slats in the ventilation systm. Must be crafted. |  |
| Lightweight Pickaxe | Stronger than a flimsy pickaxe and is used to break stones in the ground. Must be crafted. |  |
| Lightweight Shovel | Stronger than a flimsy shovel and is used to dig into the ground while trying to escape. Must be crafted. |  |
| Molten Plastic | An item mainly used to craft a plastic key. Must be crafted. |  |

| Plastic Key | Used to open doors within the prison. There are six different variations of a plastic key. Cannot be used to craft another key mold. Must be crafted. |  |
