Just as with its Wii Remote companion, the Wii Nunchuk is compatible with the Wii U. This compatibility allows you to play all your Wii games on the device, and is also used in some Wii U games. Using a Wii Remote and Nunchuk is one of the control options available for Pikmin 3.
