Wii U - Wii Remote (+)

The Wii Remote and Wii Remote Plus are compatible control methods with the Wii U, and are used in many of the currently annoucned games, including almost all of the ones from Nintendo. Nintendo is psuhing Wii Remotes as a complimentary input method to the Wii U GamePad, rather than a replacement, centering much of their showings for the platform to date around local assymetrical multiplayer, with one person on the GamePad and four people using Wii Remotes.
