Killzone: Shadow Fall has sold 2.1 million copies + PS Plus Memberships triple.

It seems mixed reviews have not held off any of the consumers who bought a Playstation 4 at launch, as Sony reveals that they have sold a respectable 2.1 million copies of the PS4 exclusive.

With a estimated total of 4.2 million owners of the next gen system this means that around half of them own the title developed by Guerrilla Games, which is an impressive feat indeed and is a good indication that Sony is on the right path early on.

But that's not the only indication, as the company have also announced that Playstation Plus subscriptions have tripled since the launch of the PS4, which firstly is not surprising as PS+ is now required to play games online with friends. However, with some fantastic games on offer for free, with the reasonably priced subscription, this is probably steering people towards the service rather than away.

So it's all good news for Sony at the moment, we are yet to hear some concrete numbers from Microsoft but I'm sure these announcements will force their hand.
