Wendy O. Koopa is one of the Koopalings, a clan of seven members that are loyal to Bowser in the Super Mario series of games. While many people thought they were Bowser's children, an interview with Shigeru Miyamoto pointed out that they are not related at all. She is the only female member of the group and her primary color is pink. She has a large pink bow with white polkadots on her head, as well as a pink shell and pink high heels. She wears a large, beaded necklace around her neck, as well as two large golden rings around her wrists.
Her first appearance was in Super Mario Bros. 3, where she was the boss of the third world. Her battle with Mario involved her throwing candy rings at him. In Super Mario World, she is the boss of Chocolate Island, the sixth world, and has the same attack pattern of Lemmy Koopa. She was the boss of the fourth world in New Super Mario Bros. Wii and the third world in New Super Mario Bros. 2, with the battles in both games taking place underwater. In New Super Mario Bros. U, she is the boss of the fourth world. She also appears in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, where she is fought in Bowser's Castle, along with the rest of the Koopalings.
