Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time - Forty Thieves

As usual, begin hunting for Clue Bottles from the hideout. Note that you will need Salim Al-Kupar for some bottles, so it's best to use him to grab all if you want.

SAFE LOCATION

The safe is located just a little southeast from your hideout, right next to the horse-head statue.

Your reward is The Guru's Staff Piece, which reduces all damage taken by half.

CLUE BOTTLES

#1) Go to the southeast corner of the first area you appear after exiting your hideout. The clue bottle is on top of the giant archway.

#2) From the previous bottle, follow the wall to the north and get on the roof of the building connected to the second archway. The clue bottle is on top of a spire jump on top of the building.

#3) Head northwest until you get to the taxi building, which has a moving camel on the front of it. The clue bottle is on top of a spire jump on the roof of the building.

#4) Just north of the last one is another archway, with the clue bottle on top of it.

#5) Go through the passage nearby #4 and get into the next area. Straight ahead is a clue bottle on a spire jump in the water.

#6) Go east of the last one and use the ropes to climb to the top of the very tall building, where you'll find the clue bottle.

#7) From the spot where you grabbed the last bottle, look down and to the west to see another above a rope.

#8) Go northwest of the last one and back to the water. There should be three stone platforms leading to the other side of the water. The clue bottle is in the air between the platforms.

#9) From #8, cross to the other side of the area and jump on the awning ahead to bounce and grab the next clue bottle.

#10) Go northeast from the previous bottle, past the building with the giant monkey genie on top, and cross the archway to the next building, where you'll find the clue bottle on the corner.

#11) You will need Salim for this bottle. From the previous bottle, look to the northwest and find the very tall tower. There is a snake-climbing basket near the base of the tower. You need to use the Climbing Cobra technique to climb it and get to the top of the tower. Slide down the rope to collect the clue bottle.

#12) Get on top of the building connected to the tower from the previous bottle. There's an archway connected to the next building, with the clue bottle on top of the archway.

#13) Go back onto the roof of the previous building and look around to find some trampolines sitting on top of poles. The clue bottle is on top of one of the poles.

#14) There's a ship to the northeast of the previous bottle. This clue bottle is on top of the dome on the ship.

#15) You will need Salim for this bottle. There's another large tower close by, with a chain to climb that goes to the top. Use the Climbing Cobra technique to get to the top. Before you slide down, there's a small tower that you can't normally get on top of unless you jump from the sliding rope. As you slide down, keep an eye on the left side for the clue bottle on top of this smaller tower.

#16) From #15, look north and down to spy this bottle sitting on a rope connected to the large building.

#17) From #16, go north to the large building and follow the opening on the left. You will eventually come to some purple pillows on the ground that act as trampolines. The clue bottle is in the air between the pillows.

#18) You will need Salim for this bottle. Keep following the path around the large building and you should spot a snake-climbing basket. Use his technique to get to the top, then jump and land on the rope. Follow it to another rope with the clue bottle.

#19) Follow the path around the large building and exit on the east side. Follow the wall on your left until you get to some water, where you'll find a clue bottle sitting on a rock.

#20) From the previous bottle. get on top of the first building you see and find the rope that connects to the bridge. The clue bottle is in the air above the middle of this rope.

#21) Nearby is a bridge with statues of lizards on either side. These statues are holding swords that can be used as spire jumps. The middle statue on the southern side has a clue bottle on top of the sword.

#22) Underneath the same bridge mentioned in #21 is another clue bottle on a rock).

#23) Go east across the bridge above and straight to the wall at the end. Get on top of the building to your right and you should see a clue bottle above a bouncy flagpole connected to the wall.

#24) Go west from the previous bottle until you get to the water. The clue bottle is on a spire jump in the lower section.

#25) To the west of #24 is another bridge with some lizard statues, and a very big arch. Climb the flagpole next to the arch and you'll see the clue bottle sitting on a ledge that is part of the arch.

#26) Go east of #25 until you get to the water, then follow it south until you see some rock platforms in the water. There's a building to your right with a rope connected to a building across the water. The clue bottle is above that rope.

#27) Head back to the building you were on before crossing the rope. On the tower there is a hook you can use to launch yourself to the top, where you'll find the clue bottle on one of the corners.

#28) From the top of the tower where you got #27, look down and you should see another clue bottle on a rope.

#29) Cross the rope from #28 to the next building and this clue bottle is on one of the corners of the roof.

#30) This bottle is close to the previous few. It's on top of the elephant statue in the middle of the square. You need to jump and glide from the spire jump on top of the roof where you got the last bottle.
