New to Thieves in Time is the ability to play as Sly Cooper's ancestors. All of his ancestors are in captivity and must be freed before they can be used. Each ancestor has his/her own abilities that are separate from Sly. It is unknown if you'll be able to play as an ancestor from one time period in another time period.
