There are complete inventories of armor and weapons in Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD. However, armor and weapons are spread throughout the kingdom and players must earn considerable money or defeat considerable foes to obtain the best weapons and armor. There are three main shops in the kingdom to purchase armor and weapons: West Callaheim, Redrock Bay and Cold Sands Hold. While there are other shops throughout the kingdom, their wares are not reliable and scattershot. Here is a breakdown of what is available for players:
Heavy Armor
The warrior and palladin classes can wear the heaviest armor in Aralon and this armor provides a lot of protection to wearers. It is for this reason that these classes don't have to worry as much about endurance or health attributes. Heavy armor includes plate and metal pieces, as well as all crafted, forged and jewel encrusted armor.
Players will start out with a heavy shirt and some traveling boots. As the game progresses and they defeat enemies, they will be able to pick up worn or tattered pieces of armor. Once he or she reaches Taryn Ridge, players should make a point to obtain the loot from the chest in the middle of Craythorn Lake. It almost always contains a piece of superb heavy armor and it will have significant defense power. Players can buy armor in increasing price and quality at the following places too: Fine Armor in Callaheim, Quality Armor and Shields in Redrock Bay and the armor tent in Cold Sands Hold.
There is also some armor that cannot be bought but is better than anything that can be purchased, including cobalt vests (defense 90), superb steel pieces (10-20 levels better than anything that can be bought) and superb emerald studded pieces (2-8 levels better than anything purchased). These pieces can be won by defeating the following foes or finding chests in the Swamplands: Uthu, Lord Valemar, Ice Elemental Queen, Fire Elemental King(s), Ashmore or Sheba.
