Aralon Sword and Shadow was developed by Crescent Moon Games and Galoobeth Games and is available to play on the iPhone, iPad and Android platforms. The game was originally released on December 4, 2010 and several updates have occurred since then, the latest occurring on June 24, 2013 (for Android). These updates have added new areas to explore, mounts, quests, weapons and armor to name a few. Aralon is an epic 3D role-playing adventure that focuses on a compelling story in an open world ready for exploration.
"That which is done cannot be undone, but it can be avenged." Aralon can only be played by one character at a time and that character is the child of Renlyn Lordel, deceased former Captain of King Owyn's Royal Guard. Players are approached by Sir Roderick, a friend of Captain Lordel, who tells him or her that Aralon is on the brink of destruction. The player must seek out friends of his or her father in towns and cities across Aralon, completing challenges that help citizens and rid the kingdom of problems. The main quest, though, is to obtain a magical scepter that will unmask a demon, Merificus, that has undue influence over King Owyn. Once King Owyn is free from Merificus' influence, the player must battle Merificus in his true form in a remote mountain location, Shadowspire.

Classes
The warrior is the class able to wield the deadliest weapons in Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD. Warriors can wield (and double wield) hammers and axes and can wear the heaviest armor. They can also use shields and have offensive skills with them. The warrior skill tree has 42 levels to it and the skills are limited in number but are greater in depth. The main attributes to build up as a warrior are strength, agility and spirit. Trolls, humans and elves can be a warrior.
Armor and Weapons
There are complete inventories of armor and weapons in Aralon: Sword and Shadow HD. However, armor and weapons are spread throughout the kingdom and players must earn considerable money or defeat considerable foes to obtain the best weapons and armor. There are three main shops in the kingdom to purchase armor and weapons: West Callaheim, Redrock Bay and Cold Sands Hold. While there are other shops throughout the kingdom, their wares are not reliable and scattershot. Here is a breakdown of what is available for players:

Walkthrough
The following is the way I play through the game when I complete all of the challenges, kill as many enemies as I can and collect as much gold and loot as possible. I complete the challenges and quests in the most even way possible, generally fighting the enemies and completing quests in ascending order to make leveling up the easiest. It usually takes me 20-25 "days" to complete the game and I end at level 50 with around 150,000-200,000 in gold. By that point, all of my armor is superb or better and I've got two or more great weapons. I also keep the drake and one other mount to travel through the Kingdoms.
