You need to get through the gate to proceed. Re-arrange the bars until the make up a regular lattice structure, two of them have broken off completely and will need to be added first. All of the light colored bars go in one direction and the dark ones in the other.
Once the gate it complete, tap the lock - you will need to find the combination to open it. Start to turn it clockwise until you find the number, then anti-clockwise then clockwise again to get the three numbers. You will know when to reverse direction as the number will light up. Once you have the three numbers it will unlock and you can drag the gate open.
