Destiny is a first-person shooter that is developed by Bungie Software, for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It is the first game created by Bungie that has appeared on Sony platforms, and it is one of the highest-selling games to make its debut, surpassing $500 million.

Story
'Everything changed with the arrival of the Traveler. It sparked a Golden Age when our civilization spanned our solar system, but it didn't last. Something hit us, knocked us down. The survivors built a city beneath the Traveler, and have begun to explore our old worlds, only to find them filled with deadly foes.
Gameplay
Destiny is a looting, co-op, first person sci-fi shooter. Players are given many abilities to use for exploring and fighting against the enemy.
Classes
Players can pick between three different species for their character. These are humans, Awoken, and Exo's. There are three different classes of which that can be filled by these species. The three roles are Titan which is similar to a tank class, Hunter which is a stealthy class and the Warlock which is a magic focused DPS class.
Weapons
Here is a list of every single confirmed weapon in Destiny. They range from Exotic, Legendary, Basic, and Uncommon. This also includes the few melee weapons from within the game.

Development
On August 2011, the first reference to what was to become Destiny was made by Bungie in their 20th anniversary documentary, O Brave New World, where it was referred to by its working title, Tiger.
