Castle of Illusion Starring Mickey Mouse is a 2.5D platform game developed by Sega Studios Australia for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 through digital distribution. It is a remake of the 1990 Sega Genesis of the same name with similar gameplay and reinvisioned levels, puzzles, and enemies.
The plot follows the previous game, with Mickey Mouse fighting his way through the Castle of Illusion to rescue Minnie Mouse from an evil witch Mizrabel, who wants to steal her beauty.

There are a total of five major locations in the game that consist of Acts. For example, the Enchanted Forest is a set of three levels that are reached from individual doors on the first floor of the mansion.
