Resident Evil: Revelations (BioHazard: Revelations) is a survival horror video game developed by Capcom for the Nintendo 3DS, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. Taking place in 2005, between the events of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, it follows Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine after the establishment of the Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance (BSAA).
When Jill and her new partner, Parker Luciani, are sent to search for Chris Redfield and Jessica Sherawat on the SS Queen Zenobia, they find a ship infected with B.O.W.s and a new T-Abyss virus, a marine virus derived from the deadly T-Virus. Meanwhile, Chris and Jessica find the base of operations for Veltro, but are cut short when they must return to the SS Queen Zenobia when Jill and Parker go missing themselves.

Story
Jill and her new partner, Parker Luciani, have been sent on board a supposedly abandoned cruise ship in the Mediterranean, to search for Chris Redfield, based on his last known GPS coordinates.
Gameplay
Resident Evil Revelations returns the gameplay theme to Survival / Horror just like in Resident Evil 4 rather than Survival / Action as in Resident Evil 5. The game's camera is in 3rd person over-the-shoulder view of the playable character but cam be switched to 1st person when aiming with a rifle or similar weapon. Unlike Resident Evil 4, players are now able to move the characters while aiming their weapon at enemies.
Raid Mode
Just like Mercenaries Mode in previous titles, Revelations features Raid Mode, which has one to two players fight off different waves of enemies while trying to reach a goal.

Parts Upgrades
Weapons in Revelations can be upgraded by attaching custom parts to one of the cutomization slots. These parts are found throughout the game or by completing tasks in Raid Mode. The following covers the location of these parts in both Campaign and Raid Mode
Missions
Missions in Revelations are same as medals in Mercenaries 3D. There are certain tasks, which players can complete and unlock various different content.
Collectibles
Collectibles in Resident Evil Revelations comprises of Handprints. There are 30 handprints in total scattered throughout the infected cruise ship. Handprints cannot be seen with naked eye and are only visible while scanning.
