It’s never a good idea to antagonize “The World’s Most Dangerous Man,” as many WWE Superstars can attest. Ken Shamrock has left a trail of broken bones and bodies in his wake, becoming a legend in the process.
Considered an all-time great in mixed-martial arts, Shamrock entered WWE in 1997 and immediately became one of the most feared competitors of the era. Bringing an ankle lock with him from the world of MMA, Superstar after Superstar found themselves forced to tap out.
Shamrock’s technical ability was eclipsed, however, by his volcanic temper. A high-intensity competitor by nature, Shamrock often “snapped” during matches, flying into an uncontrollable rage that left everybody—competitors, referees and fans alike—heading for cover.
Shamrock enjoyed much success in his WWE career, but perhaps his finest moment came when he defeated X-Pac in the finals of a tournament to crown a new Intercontinental Champion in October 1998. He held the title for four months before he lost to Val Venis amid controversy at St. Valentine’s Day Massacre 1999. “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” is back in WWE ’13 and ready to leave mayhem in his wake. He can make you tap, or you can let him snap—in WWE’ 13, you can “Live the Revolution” any way you choose!
