Guild Wars 2 - Traits

Strength

Strength is a trait line for the warrior that focuses on dodging, physical utility skills and brute force.

Per point: Power +10 Condition Duration +1%

Tier Name Description
Adept  Reckless Dodge Damage foes at the end of a dodge roll.
Master  Building Momentum Burst skills restore endurance.
Grandmaster  Stick and Move Get a damage bonus when endurance is not full.
Adept  Death from Above Damage and launch foes when you take falling damage. Take 50% less damage from falling.
Adept  Restorative Strength Using a heal skill removes crippled, chilled, immobilize, and weakness.
Adept  Great Fortitude 5% of power is given as a bonus to vitality.
Adept  Short Temper Gain 3 stacks of might for 5 seconds and 1 strike of adrenaline each time you are blocked.
Adept  Berserker's Power Increases damage based [sic]how much adrenaline you have built.Stage 1: 3%Stage 2: 7%Stage 3: 12%
Adept  Powerful Banners Banners do damage when summoned.
Master  Distracting Strikes Apply confusion when you interrupt a foe.
Master  Dual Wielding Damage is increased by 5% when wielding an axe, mace, or sword in your offhand.
Master  Slashing Power Greatsword and spear damage is increased by 10%.
Master  Axe Mastery Improve critical damage by 10% while wielding an axe in your main hand.
Grandmaster  Physical Training Physical utility skills do 100% more damage and recharge 20% faster.
Grandmaster  Berserker's Might Go into Berserker's Stance when you gain over 5 stacks of might. This effect can only occur once every 45 seconds.

Arms

Arms is a trait line for the warrior that focuses on critical hits and use of bleeding as source of damage.

Per point: Precision +10 Condition Damage +10

Tier Name Description
Adept  Precise Strikes 33% chance to cause bleeding on critical hits.
Master  Critical Burst Burst skills have a 10% increased critical chance.
Grandmaster  Attack of Opportunity Increases damage to bleeding foes by 10%.
Adept  Deep Strike Gain +40 precision for each unused signet you have equipped.
Adept  Furious Speed 10% chance to gain swiftness (3s) on critical hits.
Adept  Deep Cuts Bleeds you apply last 50% longer.
Adept  Unsuspecting Foe 50% critical-hit chance against stunned foes.
Adept  Rending Strikes 33% chance to cause vulnerability on critical hits.
Adept  Furious Reaction Gain fury (10s) when you take more than 20% of your health in a single strike. This effect can only trigger every 30 seconds.
Master  Crack Shot Rifle and harpoon gun shots pierce. Rifle and harpoon gun skills recharge 20% faster.
Master  Blademaster Increases your critical-hit chance with a sword by 10%.
Master  Opportunist Gain fury when you immobilize a target.
Master  Forceful Greatsword Gain might on critical hit with a greatsword or spear. Greatsword and spear skill recharge [sic] 20% faster.
Grandmaster  Furious Critical hits grant an extra adrenaline strike.
Grandmaster  Last Chance Gain quickness for 4 seconds when you strike a foe with less than 25% health (90-second cooldown).

Defense

Defense is a trait line for the warrior that favors enduring of damage.

Per point: Toughness +10 Healing Power +10

Tier Name Description
Adept  Thick Skin Extra armor when health is above 90%.
Master  Adrenal Health Regenerate health based on adrenaline level.
Grandmaster  Armored Attack 5% of toughness is given as a bonus to power.
Adept  Embrace the Pain Gain adrenaline when hit.
Adept  Turtle's Defense Gain +200 toughness when crippled, chilled, stunned, or immobilized.
Adept  Sure-Footed Increases stance duration by 25%.
Adept  Vigorous Return Increases health on rally.
Adept  Missile Deflection Reflect missiles whenever you are blocking.
Adept  Cull the Weak Increases damage to weakened foes by 5%.
Master  Sundering Mace Mace damage is increased by 10% when a foe is weakened. Reduces cooldown of mace skills by 20%.
Master  Last Stand Activates Balanced Stance when you are dazed, knocked down, launched, pushed back, or stunned.
Master  Shield Master Gain +90 toughness while using a shield. Shield skills recharge 20% faster.
Master  Merciless Hammer Hammer damage is increased by 25% when a foe is disabled. Reduces cooldown of hammer skills by 20%.
Grandmaster  Defy Pain Activates Endure Pain at 25% health.
Grandmaster  Spiked Armor Gain 5 seconds of retaliation when struck by a critical hit. Cannot trigger more than once every 15 seconds.

Tactics

Tactics is a trait line for the warrior that favors revival of allies and supporting them with banners, shouts and the warhorn.

Per point: Vitality +10 Boon Duration +1%

Tier Name Description
Adept  Determined Revival Gain 5 extra toughness per level while reviving.
Master  Fast Healer Increases revive speed by 10%.
Grandmaster  Reviver's Might Grant might to nearby allies when you revive someone.
Adept  Leg Specialist Apply a 1-second immobilize whenever you cripple a target with a skill.
Adept  Empower Allies Increases power of nearby allies by 70 points.
Adept  Desperate Power You do 10% extra damage under 25% health.
Adept  Stronger Bowstrings Increases longbow range.
Adept  Inspiring Banners Banners apply their bonuses to a larger area. Banners recharge 20% faster.
Adept  Empowered Increases damage for every boon on you.
Master  Shrug It Off Use Shake It Off automatically when you have more than 1 condition. This can only trigger once every 30 seconds.
Master  Lung Capacity Shouts recharge 20% faster.
Master  Quick Breathing Warhorn skills recharge 20% faster. Warhorn skills convert 1 condition into a boon.
Master  Burning Arrows Longbow damage is increased by 10% against burning foes.
Grandmaster  Inspiring Battle Standard Banners also grant regeneration to allies.
Grandmaster  Vigorous Shouts Shouts heal.

Discipline

Discipline is a trait line for the warrior that focuses on improving adrenaline gain and switching weapons in combat.

Per point: Critical Damage +1% Burst Damage +1%

Tier Name Description
Adept  Versatile Rage Gain 5 strikes of adrenaline on weapon swap.
Master  Fast Hands Weapon-swapping recharges 5 seconds faster.
Grandmaster  Versatile Power Gain might for 10 seconds on weapon swap.
Adept  Mighty Defenses You gain might when you block an attack.
Adept  Thrill of the Kill Gain extra adrenaline on a kill.
Adept  Warrior's Sprint Run faster while wielding melee weapons.
Adept  Inspiring Shouts Gain adrenaline when using a shout.
Adept  Heightened Focus Gain a 2% critical-hit chance for 1 stage of adrenaline, 5% for 2 stages, and 9% for 3 stages.
Adept  Signet Mastery Signets recharges 20% faster.
Master  Sweet Revenge 100% chance to rally if you kill someone while in vengeance.
Master  Vigorous Focus Gain vigor when using a stance.
Master  Sharpened Axes Critical hits with axes grant extra adrenaline.
Master  Mobile Strikes Movement skills break immobilize.
Grandmaster  Quick Bursts Burst skills recharges 20% faster.
Grandmaster  Adrenal Reserves Burst skills cost less.
