Tuchanka is the Krogan homeworld, and a harsh and war-torn planet. Twice the size of Earth, with a population of 2.1 billion, rapidly falling due to the infertility caused by the genophage, Tuchanka is located in the Krogan DMZ.
No teammates are recruited on Tuchanka (though Shepard does attempt to convince Urdnot Wrex to join him), but Mordin Solus and Grunt have their loyalty missions on the planet. A handful of side quests are also available.
