The following is a list of animal beasts from Diablo III, though it's important to keep in mind that some may have changed radically or been removed altogether during development:
Brickhouse (working name) - The Brickhouse is a large crab-like monster with two massive armored forearms which protect it from frontal attacks.
Carrion Bats & Nests - these are relatively weak flying creatures, produced in a living organism that is their nest.
Dune Thresher - Dune Threshers are large, melee beasts that look like a mix between a crocodile and a shark. They can only attack on the surface but are able to swim beneath the sand, moving very rapidly while submerged and surfacing quickly.

Goatmen - Goatmen, or Khazra, are much the same as they were in the game's predecessors, wielding two-handed polearms and hunting in small groups. They look much like goats crossed with men, as the name implies.
Lacuni - the Lacuni are cat-like creatures that inhabit the desert and mountain regions of Sanctuary, and are similar to the Saber Cats found in Act II of Diablo II.
Quill Fiend - Quill fiends, the pesky nuisances found in Diablo II, are set to return.
Razorback - Razorbacks are dog-like beats that can alternate between standing on all four legs and just two, and which hurl blades from their backs at enemies.
Rockworm - Rockworms are large worm-like monsters that burst out of the ground to attack. They are found underground in Act II.
Sand Wasp - Sand Wasps roam the deserts of the Borderlands. They have a melee 'stinger' attack as well as a ranged attack which fires out green wasps.

Savage Beast - Savage Beasts are corrupted animals that will charge at anyone crossing their path. They're large, ox-like beasts with huge tusks.
Scavenger - Scavengers are ferocious hound-like creatures that hunt in packs by burrowing into the ground and pouncing on their prey when it comes into range.
Withermoth - Withermoths look like giant butterflies and expel a charging force when attacked.
Wood Wraiths- Wood Wraiths are demonic beasts that take on the appearance of Ent-like trees to prey on others. They're melee-only fighters and use their massive size advantage to overpower their enemies.
