Skyview Temple is the first dungeon of Skyward Sword and was first revealed along with the boss, Ghirahim at E3 2011.
Skyview Temple is located in North Faron Woods.
Skyview Temple contains the first dungeon item, the Beetle, but to obtain it you must defeat a Stalfos. Skyview Temple also contains a new puzzle to the series, in which you rotate the sword with the controller around an eye, to confuse it and unlock the door where the eye resides.
After the first battle against The Imprisoned you will be going through this dungeon again to collect spring water located at the door after the boss room.
