Nook's Homes is one of the new buildings in New Leaf, which is run by Tom Nook and Lyle. The sole purpose of this place is to allow for customization and expansion of your own home. Whereas in previous games, you had to follow a set way of expansion, New Leaf allows you to expand whatever you want in what order you want. Also, customization allows you to change things such as chimneys, mailboxes and fences, amongst other things.
