Ein is a bounty hunter who was hired to kill Kenshiro by Jakoh. When Ein confronts Kenshiro, he threatens his life but Kenshiro senses Ein's caring side and refuses to fight. His daughter, Asuka, is kidnapped and he has no choice but to kill Kenshiro now. Bat offers Ein a chance to join the Hokuto Army, essentially leading to the event of Kenshiro rescuing his daughter for him, hereafter Ein joins. Ein uses a boxing style called Kenka Kenpo, which relies on the user's fists as their main weapon.
