Jagi is one of the successors of the Hokuto Shinken style, and is the third eldest brother of the four candidates. When Kenshiro was named as the successor to the Hokuto Shinken, Jagi was outraged and challenged his younger brother to a fight. Using anything he could to win, he eventually lost and Kenshiro disfigured Jagi's face. While Jagi knows the Hokuto Shinken style of fighting, he has mostly abandoned it and uses dirty tricks and weaponry to win his fights.
