Hyo is the elder biological brother of Kenshiro and a descendant of the Hokuto ancestry bloodline. Hyo goes to Shura to learn the Hokuto Ryuken, training under Jyukei, who erases Hyo's memories to bring out his full potential. It is here that Hyo serves as Kaioh's second in command. Hyo's fighting style is the Hokuto Ryuken, a centuries old assassination technique that was created during the Three Kingdoms era. It involves distorting their fighting aura to oppress their competition.
